Privacy policy

Effective from 28 October 2026

The Slovak version of this policy is the binding one.

This page explains what personal data we process, why, for how long and what your rights are. We try to collect as little as possible: the website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Who processes your data

The controller is semeIO s. r. o., Pribinova 6887/2, 900 27 Bernolákovo, Slovakia, Company ID 56 506 538, registered in the Commercial Register of the Bratislava III Municipal Court, section Sro, file no. 190056/B.

For any question about your personal data, write to support@semeio.sk. We have not appointed a data protection officer, as the law does not require one for us.

What data we process and why

When you write to us

Through the contact form or by email we receive your name, email address and the text of your message, and any other details you choose to include.

• Purpose: to reply, arrange a consultation and prepare a proposal.
• Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and, if no contract follows, our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• How long: 12 months from the last communication if we do not start working together. If we do, for the duration of the cooperation and then as long as accounting and tax laws require.
• Abuse protection: so that nobody can flood the form, the server remembers your IP address for at most one hour when you send a message (in memory only, never stored). Message contents are not written to server logs.

Providing your data is voluntary, but without an email address we cannot reply.

When you browse the website

With every visit, the server automatically records your IP address, the time, the page visited and the browser type.

• Purpose: security and reliable operation of the website, for example detecting attacks.
• Legal basis: our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• How long: 30 days, after which the records are deleted automatically.

Who else may have access

We do not sell your data or share it for marketing. Only the suppliers without whom the website and email would not work handle it:

• OVH Hosting Limited (OVHcloud), Dublin, Ireland – operates the server that runs the website and processes the form. The server is located in Poland.
• Websupport s. r. o., Bratislava – the mailbox that receives your messages, and domain management.

Your data stays in the European Union; we do not transfer it outside the EU.

Cookies and browser storage

The website does not use cookies. If you switch between light and dark mode, your browser remembers the choice in its local storage so you do not have to set it again. It is purely technical, is never sent anywhere and you can delete it at any time in your browser settings.

The font and all website files are loaded from our own server, not from third parties.

Your rights

At any time you have the right to:

• know what data we hold about you and receive a copy,
• have it corrected if it is wrong,
• ask for it to be erased or its processing restricted,
• receive it in a machine-readable format (portability),
• object to processing based on legitimate interest.

Just write to support@semeio.sk. We will reply without undue delay and within one month at the latest.

If you believe we handle your data incorrectly, you can lodge a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection of the Slovak Republic, Hraničná 12, 820 07 Bratislava 27, dataprotection.gov.sk.

Automated decision-making

We do not make automated decisions about you or create profiles.
